“Citizens that participate in public life are an essential cornerstone to our national economy. By volunteering, we can all make a difference to build stronger, more robust communities.
Welcome to the Center for the Global Study of Social Enterprise, an agency dedicated to promoting the strategic use of volunteerism as an agent of economic empowerment. Here at the Center, we work with nonprofits and public agencies to develop and advance volunteer-fueled strategies to better meet the economic challenges facing, young, elderly, and impoverished persons. Our goal is to help partnering organizations increase their impact in the communities they serve by using a greater number of volunteers in a more cost-effective way.
As Executive Director, it is my pleasure to invite you to explore this website to learn more about our work, our research, and how we can be of service to you. Whether you are a nonprofit organization, a public agency, or simply out to make a difference, we at CGSSE are here to serve those who serve others.
