The purpose of the organization is to help volunteer based poverty reduction programs, both public and non-profit, employ a greater number of volunteers at a lesser cost. To that end, the Center for the Global Study of Social Enterprise partners with these organizations to 1) measure the economic impact of their activities, 2) increase the cost-effectiveness of their volunteer use, and 3) develop strategic plans to meet cost-efficiency benchmarks and deadlines.
